Matt Kelley

Matt is originally from Louisiana and joined the Merriman team in Seattle in 2021. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Louisiana State University and recently completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ program.
At Merriman, Matt supports our advisory team with the financial planning process to help ensure our clients achieve their goals and have clarity and peace of mind in our process. He loves helping people pursue their ambitions, offering personalized service and objective investment advice.
Prior to joining Merriman, Matt worked at Morgan Stanley and Edward Jones. Through his career he has been dedicated to providing clients an unsurpassed level of assistance and guidance and is passionate about serving clients’ best interests. In his prior roles he excelled in providing customized goals based financial strategies designed to anticipate and meet all sorts of diverse needs.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants and breweries, catching a Sounders or Seahawks game, and exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
