Matt Mathiesen
Associate Advisor
Matt Mathiesen joined the Merriman team in the Eugene office in May 2019. A native of Eugene, he and his wife, Laurel and son Trey recently moved back from the Boston area after living there for the last two and a half years.
He brings with him a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Oregon and almost nine years of experience in the financial services sector. His passion for educating and planning for client goals such as retirement, education, and home purchases are paired with his knowledge of financial strategies and tools.
In his spare time you can find him with his family, playing board games, and trying new microbrew beer.
