I'm Michelle Smith

Michelle joined the Merriman team in June 2022 and is a longtime Tacoma, WA resident. She’s proud to call herself both a Sun Devil and a Dawg as the pandemic fostered her ability to study business at Arizona State University and the University of Washington, graduating with a degree in finance from the latter.

Michelle is passionate about financial preparation and worked in the banking industry to gain experience working with clients and various teams while servicing her community. At Merriman, she diligently supports advisors in helping clients achieve their financial goals through all life stages.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys exploring/hammocking and trying new restaurants with her boyfriend (or simply staying home with their two cats).
