I'm Blanca Marentes

Blanca has enjoyed a career in financial services, trading for over 15 years, and has been at Merriman since 2019. She proudly considers her teammates as a family rather than just coworkers and thinks highly of the work-life balance Merriman provides.

Blanca is originally from Mexico City and moved to New Mexico as a small child. In her spare time, she enjoys fencing and dancing to salsa music. She and her husband moved to the PNW in 2008, and when asked what she thinks about such a different climate from the southwest, she says, “We both love it here, even the rain!“
