Let’s solve your financial puzzles together!
Planning with your goals in mind
We work hard to understand who you are and what you want to accomplish, both personally and professionally, so we can best support you and your family in achieving your goals.
We're more than just investments
Together, we’ll implement a customized plan for all areas of your financial life: Investments, taxes, estate planning, insurance, charitable giving, and more.
Life is complicated.
I’m here to help.
Working as a wealth advisor or in finance was never what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wanted to help people and make a difference in people’s lives but had not yet determined the path I would take to do that. A series of fortunate (and sometimes unfortunate) events lead me to my career, and I have never looked back.
The relationships that I have with my clients are very important. I want them to feel comfortable to ask any questions, and to be a sounding board when they have decisions to make. As we age, our financial lives often get more complicated. Adding a marriage or divorce, kids, and parent needs, second careers or retirements can easily make people feel overwhelmed. Simplifying a client’s financial life and making sure all those puzzle pieces fit together is what I love to do.
I've been saving, but am I on the right track for my financial goals?
How can I save for my kids' education and myself?
I have a lot of accounts. How can I simplify them? Should I?
Having aging parents is hard. How do I help them?
Are my current investment strategies going to help me reach my goals?
What saving and tax strategies make the most sense for me and my family?
Simplify
Streamlining your accounts and getting organized can help ensure you’re on track toward your goals.
Educate
I’ll help you confidently make decisions about complex financial tools like Social Security, 401(k)s, pensions and Medicare.
Advocate
My fiduciary responsibility means we’ll always be working toward the same goals: Yours.
Reduce Stress
We’ll work together to alleviate your worries so you can spend more time on other areas of life.
About Me
My name is Aimee Butler. I am a Wealth Advisor with Merriman, a fee-only investment advisory firm with a strong focus on smart investing and long-term goals. Before joining Merriman in 2018, I gathered more than 15 years of technical training and hands-on experience as an advisor, a district manager, and a regional director. I am a Certified Financial Planner Professional, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Providence College.
I like to be involved in our community and spend time volunteering on boards. I am past President of the local Financial Planning Association, a current member of the Eugene Estate Planning Council and a member of the board for the KLCC Public Radio Foundation. I love living in a community that believes in education and equality.
At home, I am a wife and mom. My husband Greg and I are east coast transplants and love the Pacific Northwest and Eugene! When I’m not working, you can find me practicing yoga in my living room or dragging my two kids, Cameron and Penelope, around to their activities. If you see me at Costco on the weekend, say “Hi!”
