Dan Hill
Associate Advisor
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Dan moved to Seattle to join the Merriman team in 2021. He earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Throughout his career, Dan has focused on supporting business growth and development, both in human resources and operations. Prior to Merriman, he lived in China for 7 years working on the opening team for Shanghai Disney Resort as a Learning and Development Manager responsible for the resort’s onboarding operations. After returning from China, he managed the warehousing operations for his family’s industrial chemical company in Central Florida. Dan understands first-hand the important decisions our clients face and the impacts – whether it’s selling a family business or deciding when to retire. His experience working with small business owners is what prompted him to pursue an M.B.A. to offer thoughtful and effective wealth management advice. As a lifelong learner and planner, he tries to think ten steps ahead to anticipate our clients’ needs so they can achieve their goals, whether they be financial, personal, or professional.
In his spare time, Dan is a professional scuba diver, loves to bake, and is an amateur accordion player.
